Missouri Athletic Club to Present College Soccer’s Top Award – Jan. 3
ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Athletic Club’s Hermann Trophy presented by Mungenast St. Louis Acura and Alton Toyota will be awarded to the top male and female collegiate soccer players in the nation on Friday, Jan. 3. The crystal soccer ball trophy represents the highest individual achievement in the sport. Many of the biggest names in American soccer, including Mia Hamm, Crystal Dunn, Claudio Reyna, and Alexi Lalas, have won the award.
The finalists for the 2024 men’s MAC Hermann Trophy are Michael Adedokun (Ohio State),Sam Bassett (Denver), and Emil Jaaskelainen (Akron). The finalists for the women’s award are Kate Faasse (North Carolina), Maggie Graham (Duke), and Caiya Hanks (Wake Forest).
Media coverage is welcome. The finalists will be available to the media from 5-6 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Missouri Athletic Club. A press conference where the winners are announced will take place at 6:30 p.m. (CST) on the second floor of the Missouri Athletic Club’s Downtown Clubhouse (405 Washington Ave.).
